I used a 8mm camera to record the sound, I wasn't trying to video the ride, just capture sound. I then used a Firewire card/cable and plugged it into my computer. I captured the video recorded in a mpeg format, then used TMPGENC to extract the sound only into an .avi format. I then converted the .avi to an .mp3
