Planning a trip to the resort tomorrow. Just wondering if it's crowded or not. I noticed the operating hours are quite long for a Sunday, so curious if the crowds are sizeable this weekend?

I was there yesterday, and it was more crowded than it has been in previous months. I think part of the reason is was especially crowded is there's some nation cheerleading competition going on somewhere in Anaheim so the park was over-run with heards of loud teenage girls, not exactly my idea of fun. I don't know how long the cheerleaders will be around, but it could be all weekend.

It's not htat busy right now ... if you wanna know how busy it'll be ... call (714) 781-7290 and ask the cast member who answers the phone what the wait times are in the park. I sugguest doing this a few hours after the park has opened! This way you have an idea about how long the lines are before you go in!That's what I do!

Hubby and daughter said most of the rides had waits up to about an hour today...could be worse tomorrow. Buzz was open today also, first time they passed it, it was about a 20 minute wait, an hour later it was an hour wait. And yes the cheerleaders from all over the country are here for a competition at the Convention Center.....We'll all be there tomorrow also!Mom, remember, it's not what a person is like on the outside that counts,it's what they are like in their HEART!

Not only were the cheerleaders there but it was also Deaf Awareness Day on Sat...you wouldn't know it though...very poor job of accessibility on Disney's part. WDW has Anaheim beat hands down when it comes to that.~~Second star to the right and straight on til morning~~

I agree. Very crowded for this time of year. And now that I'm too old for them to be eye candy (let's not go into American Beauty here), the cheerleaders were WAAAAYYY too abundant. And loud! My ears are still ringing.... I also noticed the last couple of weekends a large number of Asian groups at DLR. Like groups of 15-20, all over the place. Not that it was a problem, I just noticed a larger number than usual, and very few of them speaking English. Could be there's just some tourism packages filling up the parks... Who knows. This summer is apt to get pretty ugly, though...

This last sat was Deaf Awareness day, which brought extra people to the resort. . . all-in-all a lot of guests are coming back on their 2fers when it's not raining, so it'll be moderately crowded, especially on fri-sun for the next few weeks, followed by week-long crowding for Spring Break and then (of course) the BIG jump to the 50th in early May."To All Who Come To This Happy Place, Welcome!

I went on Saturday with my brother. We both were getting slightly annoyed with all the cheerleaders. Cheering in line. In small small buildings. Hurts the ears. Otherwise, I didnt think it was too bad. Aside from all the rude people that were staring at him in his wheelchair.Remain Seated Please..... :o
