Enchanted Tiki Room has a sign again :)

The new sign is pretty. The lanai is complete. The restaurant equipment is being put in place in the Juice Bar. Rongo looks cool, but he doesn't have his kite yet. Looks like all the Tiki Gods have new signs too. There are new lanterns, which are really super duper cool.

I even found a Hidden Mickey.

A friend of mine who has been to WDW told me that when the Tiki Room there was redone many years ago, it included Zazu (spelling) from Aladdin as one of the main birds. Has anyone heard that???

Yup, WDW's Tiki Room has Iago and Zazu. Basically Iago wants to modernize the show and threatening the Tiki Birds with losing their jobs. Zazu is against this, knowing it shall anger the Tiki Gods. Iago angers Tiki Gods and Pele(I refuse to call her by the name used in the show, Uh-Oa. Besides Pele is sort of a Tiki God of Disaster) zaps Iago and the Tikis in the poles and the flowers sing some barbershop music and then go into rap mode with the old chant mixed in a little. Iago comes back in and says that the Tiki Gods are a hit and allows them all to stay and then the Birdmobile descends for the finale.
