    • I took this last Saturday from my senior trip. The last (and only other time) I had watched the Electrical Parade was during my first visit to Disneyland in 2005, so I hardly remembered what the parade was like. It was so nice to see it again after all these years!

        • That Feeling
          April 24, 2017

Every part of Disneyland and California Adventure looks amazing in any light or any time of the day, but Cars Land at night, oh the magic and energy. Remember that feeling as a kid, when something was just so exciting you literally could not hold still? Well then you know how I felt this night.

As we know photographing in the parks or anyplace for that matter there are certain “windows”, times of day or night when things come together. Morning light, the low angle of the sun when the air is cool. Late afternoon when the sun is low again and the warm hues of light blanket things, these are the way most of us “remember things” in our minds eye.

Perhaps the most exciting time is late dusk or “blue hour”, when there is still just enough light in the sky to let things separate but dark enough to capture the color of lights and lighted things. This window is short. I think the photo Gods planned it this way. You have to think ahead, work quickly, and may have to come back another day. Which is ok with me.

Can't wait to see what you get from that!

And now, ladies and gents, here is my last remaining photo of the Tower of Terror.

                • Here's one from a few weeks ago. Not the usual guitar player for the Royal Street Bachelors but he was great! I wish they'd let them play even when the boat is moving again.

                          May 18, 2017

Pluto looks on happily yet always on guard, faithful to both “Partners”.

I love all of the bronzes at the Hub and I love the way they are arraigned. All facing Mickey and Walt, smiles frozen on their faces much they way ours are.

                            May 18, 2017

I can almost hear the organ playing those slow melodic tones in the foyer before you enter the stretching room.

“When hinges creak in doorless chambers, and strange and frightening sounds echo through the halls. Whenever candlelights flicker where the air is deathly still. That is the time when ghosts are present, practicing their terror with ghoulish delight!”

                            • This is really beautiful, Disneyland1967. I've taken my own photos of this statue, but they haven't come out as good as this.
