  • [Fun] Things you like about attractions you don't

Let's face it, not everyone likes everything about Disneyland. Some of us have our attractions that we just don't like. But even when it does something really, REALLY wrong, Disneyland does some things well. Be it the Winnie the Pooh ride, Innoventions, Autopia, think of your least favorite attraction- ok, the ones you hate. But what is a part of that attraction that actually is done really well?

Please, let's limit the sarcastic answers of "It ends," or such others. I'd really like to know what you think about this topic.

How about a slight modification on your original question...?

As much as I love Star Tours and Indy, they are NOT Disney original creations, or properties. They are Lucas and Lucas/Spielberg properties. That has always bugged me. Having said that, I do enjoy them.

Now, what genious thought Pooh was better than the Bear Country Playhouse? Old wound that has never healed.

Splash Mountain: the critters were better in America Sings, way better than Innoventions. The logs hold disgusting water, with floating 'things' in it. I refuse to put my feet in that swill.

Space Mountain: the que was never completely renovated. It was under such pressure to be opened by July 17, 2005, work was stopped in the descending hallway. The last few yards of hallway, before you enter the main 'launch room', are still the old stainless perforated panels, still dented and just ugly.

This was difficult to write, as I do love the Park. Thanks for the opportunity to air a few dislikes.

I would have to say my least favorite ride is Casey Jr. I do like the views you get of Fantasyland and Storybookland from the train, but tome, the views aren't worth cramming myself into those tiny trains. lol

        ^^^That's the spirit!

I was thinking about the Winnie the Poop ride. I do like the effect of Pooh slipping into the dream and floating out of his body.

The queue is downright pleasant there out in the foresty, outdoorsy, rustic atmosphere.

I love winnie the pooh for the music and the familiar stories. But the characters in the ride are so badly done. They could have put in some more effort like they did in Pooh's Hunny Hunt and it could be a top contender of my favorite rides

I'll even add that the rain effect is pretty good.

The ride I don't like is silly symphony swings. Well....the ride I am terrified of is sss. I think its a lot of fun, but the tilting and hanging terrifies me! However, I do like how it fits in the pier area, and provides a good view. The music adds a nice touch as well.

I like when It's A Small World is finally over.

... Just kidding. Well, kinda. Honestly, I read the end of your first post and decided to maybe edit this a bit. So umm... I do like the spinning sun on the ride, it's kind of nostalgic in a way as I remember liking that part as a little kid.

I love the queue for ToT, but I hate the ride because it makes me motion sick. The queue is almost worth going through and then bailing before the ride (I actually did this on The Forbidden Journey at Wizarding World of Harry Potter because after one ride I was a ghastly shade of green, but I still wanted to go through the castle.)

I've done that before with attractions, due to health restrictions. At least I still get to enjoy some of them that way.

Definitely Pooh, I know its a cheaply thrown together ride, but I like that we have a place to see Pooh and Friends and I like the Heffalump and Woozle or whatever its called scene

                          Yeah I think so too.
For me, it's gone now, but in Innoventions which I don't hate but it is not something that I do every time. They used to have the Virtual Resort which I liked but since they took it out I haven't been back.

I never really liked Star Tours.... but I loved Rex and the ride soundtrack.
Also, it might be blasphemy for me to admit it, but I don't really like Jungle Cruise...

BUT I love when you luck into a great Skipper and they make you glad you rode.

Autopia. It occupies a bunch of people who would otherwise be crowding up the good rides.
