LOL thanks!! I just asked the very same question in the tracker but got zero responses. But good to know there is an official date now! Yeah, I'm excited. I'm ALWAYS excited when a new bar is opening.

And it will be open just in time for Memorial day!

Yes, I just read this article! The offerings sound pretty good, but we'll have to see how they actually taste when they open. I'm definitely looking forward to Trader Sam's; the concept art just looks like so much fun, and you can't go wrong with some drinks ;D

my favorite part is that Schweitzer Falls is one of the drinks.

Aw I totally thought this was opening where Aladdins Oasis is, which would be amazing. But then I remembered the "no alcohol at Disneyland" rule.

Yeah thats the one thing that blows a DL, no alcohol! I mean its fine now, thats what we got DCA for, but you cant have cool places like the Tiki restaurant and not have some cool tiki drinks with it!

I'm especially looking forward to this drink since I don't do alcohol, and it's hard to find truly unique virgin drinks.

How big is Tongaroa Terrace going to be? Compared to other DLR restaurants? It seems small in the photos.

And...I hope you're not serious. Keep alcohol out of the Happiest Place on Earth. Why would anyone want there to be drunkards running all over the place. Keep it family-friendly, it's what Walt wanted.

I like that the Tangaroa Terrace and Trader Sams is very retro and brings back the style of the Tahitian Terrace, they just need the dinner show to go along with it. The menu is very 'current tastes' - miso-crusted salmon, tamarind-glazed pork shanks or panko-crusted chicken, each served with jasmine rice, panko-crusted long beans and green papaya slaw - whatever happened to old fashioned chicken and beef sticks and spare ribs?

I wonder if the pool will open then too. Doesn't the pool run along one of the edges of the restaurant?

Must ask if they can make the Schweitzer Falls alcoholic. Needs more rum! LOL. That burger sounds pretty tasty as does the french toast!
