Anything listed on the park maps as an attraction is fair game for inclusion in the Rally.
I cannot confirm nor deny the inclusion of any attraction in the Rally.
I had the same initial reactiong. Purple? Wha? Now what if NASA adopted purple for the space shuttles? Think about it.
Eglantine, Eglantine, oh how you shine!
I don't believe in giving animals ridiculous names. I call him Cosmic Creepers...

Well..Not that I was a fan of the old ones, but gold in the dark turns brown. They seem to have a reclining position to the seats. Lots of speakers too, good call. Are the tweeters too high for younger riders? Probably bathing the sound rather than directing it. The lavender/gold color inside the show may look great, but in this context they come off kind of gay. Will have to reserve final judgement for show lighting.

These are the Hong Kong rockets, not ours. Our Space Mountain rockets are black and grey. Our rockets also are not so high in the front blocking your view. They will look very similar to our old ones with some nice curves. If Al can get on here he can give you the picture that he had a while back that was posted on this website of the new rockets.
Um... those purple rockets were showcased at the Cast Blast Expo 2002 and touted as the new rockets for Disneyland's Space Mountain. Doesn't anybody remember the constant rumors everytime Space Mountain went down that we'd be getting the new rockets?
Of course, we're talking about Disney here, everything is subject to change.
I hope we all get to don those futuristic outfits, complete with shoulder/chest guard/bib thing, before we board like the riders in the poster.
Is the image below the poster a rendering of the space probe structure that hangs from the ceiling of the loading area? I've never seen that picture before. So, is it going to be orange now?
I asked in a seperate thread if there was an evidence of the look and feel to the new Space Mtn and I got muddled responses. There were rumors it would look like the Paris version. Does anyone in this thread know anything about the track design? Does in face do a loop as in the Paris version?
I believe the DL version will be an identical track layout with new updated special effects inside, new trains, revamped queue and groovin new space age sound track.

I remember CB 2002 and those rockets (with the Cyrwin-Vega speakers)! Are the new ones based on those?
