I am really excited to ride Sapce Mountain again. Riding the MK version did not completely quench my thirst for our version of SM. I never realized until last year how much I truly loved that ride!Anything listed on the park maps as an attraction is fair game for inclusion in the Rally.
I cannot confirm nor deny the inclusion of any attraction in the Rally.
May the Gumballs Be with You...Always.

You may have the best relationship in the world with your husband, but there are just times you need your girlfriends. It makes for a healthier and happier you which makes everything else you do better.

Im excited for this moment...been waiting for a long time!'When hinges creek in doorless chambers..and strange and frightening sounds echo through the halls..whenever candlelights flicker..where the air is deathly still..That is the time when ghosts are present, practicing their terror with ghoulish delight.'

While Space Mountain certainly needed to be redone, I still find it sad that the best Disney can do for the cornerstone of one of its major divisions is a to redo a roller coaster attraction already built. I'm glad the attraction is getting redone, but that and Buzz aren't enough to base a major portion of the 50th celebration on.-David

They spent all that money to build an all new track that is the same as the old one. They could have done so much more.
But, in the end, I'll just be happy to have Space back with the new effects.MiceChat 101: Be NICE! If you don't play well with others, you are in the wrong sandbox.

But even worse than just rebuilding the same quarter-century-old "futuristic" ride with some different lights thrown on the walls, is not having it ready for the 50th birthday.
Even assuming that Disneyland RR Guy knows something I don't, I cannot be optimistic that the Park will pull off reopening Space by the middle of July. I truly hope I'm wrong. The excitement I will feel pulled over my soul by the reopening of this old favorite would be tripled if they did it in time for the anniversary.
If, however, as I expect, Disneyland's 50th Birthday is SpaceMountainless, there's going to be a big hole in the celebration. (And I'll personally be devastated, as the "expanded-enjoyment" option that my friends and I pull out only for the big birthdays every 5 years will be missed for the first time in history. Bah.)
