  • [Question] Radiator Springs Racers wait time?

Does anybody know roughly the ride capacity for RSR? Basically I would like to know if it will be a slow loader like Nemo or high capacity like pirates?

Also is it confirmed to be a fastpass attraction?
Can't wait for December 2012 when I FINALLY get back to Disneyland Resort! My first trip in over 7 years

I'm pretty sure it will have a comparable capacity to that of Test Track in EPCOT (since it's the same track system). Test Track has a capacity around 1200/ hour. So its a pretty slow loader. However it is not identical in that it has two tracks running two vehicles together. It may be a much faster loader then Test Track but I doubt it will have a whole lot higher capacity.

I've heard it is possibly the most expensive ride Disney has ever built so I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that it is guaranteed to have fast pass.

Guaranteed it will and as mentioned they will go quickly. I remember when we went to Epcot in 2002, you had to get your FP pretty much first thing in the morning or they were gone. We were only there one day and didnt get a chance to do it, I remember going for fastpass around 11:00 and they were gone.

Yeah my guess is like a 4 hour line for the whole first summer....and heck maybe even the second

There's a slight possibility of them being able to double the Test Track number...It's the same ride system, but it's also dueling tracks, so, theoretically, that would put it at about 2400/hr which is creeping towards Haunted Mansion numbers. Of course, if I had to bet, I'd put my money somewhere around 2000, just because.

I would think this^^^ two tracks should help the line out a lot. Of course in the beginning it will be insane.

Im sure it will be a long line. It's def not a people eater like mermaid is. It might be double the capacity of test track but thats about it.
Either way ill be there the day it opens and wait for hours. lol

Was there opening day for star tours at Disneyland and waited 5 hours. Good stuff. =D
