  • [Question] Single Rider Trip - Thursday October 6th, 2011

I am doing my 2nd Annual Solo National Parks Road Trip and will be swinging through Disneyland on the way home. I will be at the park as a single rider on Thursday Ocotober 6th. Anyone have any tips on going to the parks alone? I will take advantage of the single rider attractions of course.

Anyone else in the parks that day?

Don't know if I'll be there or not, but it's a weekday, so it's possible.

Tips? Take your day nice and slow, check out all the details of the place, savor the day. Or go on as many rides as you possibly can! Depends on your personal style. The nice thing about going solo is that you can do anything you want.

What I reccomend is to bring a lunch if you are trying not to spend to much money, but to have a nicer dinner at one of the Table Service Restaraunts they have at the resort... My personal favorite being Cafe Orleans, I would reccomend the Monte Cristo Sandwich with an order of Pommes Fries, both are to die for! However, if you decide not to dine at Cafe Orleans, or any other table service restaraunt for that matter... I am going to let you in on a little known secret... You can order Pommes Fries to go at the reservations desk... (They might look at you as if you are a tad bit crazy, and there is the possibility of being told no, although it has never happened to us...) Eat them in a long line, but a little peice of advice... Bring gum to get rid of your garlic breath... Also, remember that you can get a Fastpass in both parks(if you are park hopping) at the same time, however with the current state of DCA I would not reccomend it because it does kill your feet having to get around construction walls and taking the long way to Paradise Peir... Just enjoy the park, of all things that is what matters most...
All right, listen! I didn't want to have to do this, but you leave me no choice. Here comes the smolder.
