  • [Chat] Most uncomfortable ride at DLR

I love it! But the Matterhorn is the most uncomfortable that I ride regularly.

I can see your point. However, when I am stuck on Autopia, and some yahoo behind me keeps bumping into me, that's what I find the most uncomfortable. Also, as much as I love it, the canoes, since there's no back support.

I have never been brave enough to ride the Matterhorn Bobsleds. I have heard that the sleds are very bumpy. It's not that, that keeps me off of them, it's the fact that I am not fond of rollercoasters in general. I do ride BTMRR on occasion. That one is pretty short, and if I am with a group, I sometimes talk myself into riding.

The final lift hill on Pirates kills my back when the seat bar jams my spine. I grab on the bar in front of me to release the pressure on my back.

Hopefully this will be remedied (at least a little bit) with the new sleds.

I'm 6'4". Almost everything is uncomfortable for me, in some way.

BTMRR, as the lap bar won't clear my knees without me doing some creative bending. Just not enough leg room. Pooh falls into the same issue.

I don't really mind the Matterhorn. Yes, it is rough, but it isn't as bad as some of the Wooden coasters I have been on and really enjoy.

^This. 10 times worse than the Matterhorn on my back.

Note to the powers that be........ a little EVA on the back of the seats can be more magical than any fancy mist projection :beg:

Re: Most uncomfortable ride at DLR

Matterhorn and Splash both reak havoc on my lower back. The Matterhorn due to its bumpiness and sharp turns. Splash due to the final drop - those without back problems probably don't realize this but the logs hit the water on those drops HARD. I prefer the back seat because it offers better lower back support but it's not often I ride this ride due to this reason.

Autopia - great ride but you have to press the gas so hard it feels like your leg is going to break off.

RRCS is the absolute worst though. I'm a tall guy and when the ride spins my knees are constantly banging against the dash board. I always exit that ride with sore knees.

The lift hills on Splash vibrate so much, I swear it's gonna knock my brain loose.

Splash Mountain, for leg room/major cramps of pain involved, or the Subs, which I refuse to ride after getting the half seat next to the staircase once. It was horrible...the regular seats are small for me, but that was literally a nightmare basically of uncomfortableness.

I'm only a puny 5'1'' so matterhorn, BTMRR and Indy does throw me around a bit xD But I still love all those rides regardless.
The Astro Orbiter is very hard for me to climb into and I tend to slide around alot, it kind of hurts my side when I go down but still, i dont mind too much

Silly Symphony Swings was the only time I felt pain trying to get into a ride. I had a shoulder injury, and the bungee cords dug right in. Got off before the ride started.
