  • [Question] Pirates, my favorite of all!

Last night at the cast Christmas party while riding POTC, I had a question pop into my noggin.

What do you call the ceiling that is falling down after the jail scene but before the last scene?
Is it a bridge that's falling down or part of a pier or what?

I always thought of the jail, armory, and collapsing room as part of one structure, kind of like a fort. That room contains various furniture, so it's definitely not a bridge or a pier.

I've always considered it the inside of a burning ship, myself.

I always thought it was just the roof burning, with pillars and sharts of wood coming down.

First I was thinking "warehouse", but part of the fort that houses the jail makes more sense.

Is there really a Tinkerbell in the treasure room?

I believe that it is actually the flooding and burning basement of a fort. This is supported by the existence of the jail within the fort, as well as the store of gunpowder and armaments.

It is the destroyed interior of the large fort you earlier saw against the Wicked Wench. Now you're inside the pillaged and ravaged fort, however some Pirates were caught and place in jail by the Spanish soldiers. I don't know what happen to the soldiers, though.

That's actually a smart and sensible explanation.
