  • Trip Report Holiday Report of Photos and Fun

Dedicated friends of the Parks, I hope you have all had the chance to experience Disneyland in holiday mode! I was fortunate to get a couple days off from the salt mines to see for myself what has been called, "The Most Crowded Place on Earth!" Other than Thanksgiving evening, it really wasn't too bad. Weather was good, turkey legs juicy and even the gingerbread house seemed scary! So my wife and I brought the pup, and met my parents and brah Ryan for festivities. Not many Polaroids were taken, partly because if you stood still too long, the sea of people would carry you all the way to Toon Town...and that is the last place you want to be. Here are some of the snap shots...

What trip is complete without a trip around the river in a fine dugout? Don't sit behind uncoordinated kids or adults though, unless you are wearing swim trunks.

Probably his best side. Looking on to the island, wondering where Injun Joe might be lurking. They are work friends but don't see much of each other outside the gates.

Look, sir: Droids. These plastics were escorting her highness, Marie Osmond, to the Mrs. Potato Head accessory bin.

Here he is, the big-bopper Ryan. Sitting high on his throne as he cruised through the jungle. The CM's did a very nice job in getting him on and off the boat.

Popping off rounds as well as jokes, this guy was a class act and made our cruise one to remember. He even let me sprawl out on the middle bench, flat on my back, to get a new perspective. Stand up guy!

Have you seen the Reindeer? Those fuzzy antlers and fluffy neck fur make these Caribou just so cute! And yet, they have got to be sweating up a storm! An arctic animal posting up in Anaheim? Is that why that area smells so bad? Or is it the smoking section?

Nice trip report and I love you got a shot of the Haunted Mansion Chandelier, a little trivia for you on that it represents 666 there are 6 branches off the branches are 6 candles and off the candles are 6 crystals. Also did you find the hidden Mickey on the Santa Hat at It's a Small World? Its tricky but nice once you find it.
