I'll admit to having been very aprehensive about Cars Land, but this really looks good. I can't wait.

In terms of quality, design, execution, and imagination un-earthed....there's going to be nothing like it on Earth.

I'm hoping the Cars Franchise stays relevant.. pretty big investment made on it.

Well, it's not quite the franchise, but in terms of California relevancy, cars are a MAJOR part of California culture and daily life.

And Song of the South is so relevant and the Twilight Zone and Indiana Jones too while we're at it. Bottom line, a good attraction is a good attraction. A quality land will always be a quality land

                    This. ^

The franchise and every main attraction in Carsland will always be fun, popular and consistant with the park in terms of theme.

Well put. Quality attracions stand the test of time, independent of thematic relevance. Disneyland exists because of good ol' unrefined Walt who learned through hard work and experiencing life's adventure through contact with a variety of people and things. In today's world, college degrees have never built an entertainment empire that started with a close to pennyless man and a mouse (or the equivalent thereof).

Agreed.........all other things aside, based on theming alone........looks like Disney has hit one out of the park!

Doesn't matter if Cars stays "relevant"........great theming and great E-ticket = timeless.

I got another one... Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin had a 45 minute line today. What kid today even knows who Roger Rabbit is, or has seen the movie? What adult even remembers that moderately succesful movie from 23 years ago? So why are people standing in a long line for that ride in a theme park that has six other very good Fantasyland-style dark rides?

A fun ride is a fun ride, and a stunningly beautiful land will remain stunningly beautiful for decades even if some of the audience didn't see the movie.

I'm still a little apprehensive of the whole land, but I;ll wait till I see it all done.

                              Although RSR LOOKS AWESOME!!!!
