When Will It Be Busy At Disneyland

It really depends on a few things, but using TouringPlans crowd calendar for 2019, here are the days of the week and what the avg crowd levels were for each one (1 is empty, 10 is packed). In parenthesis next to each day I also put the number of days that day saw crowds of 8 or more and 3 or less (for example, Monday is 14/17, meaning 14 days saw crowds of 8 or more and 17 Mondays saw crowds of 3 or less).

3.9 Friday (2/19)
5.9 Saturday (19/11)
4.0 Sunday (3/20)

Shockingly, Friday has been the least crowded day of the week for 2019. However, Friday doesn't have as many low crowd days and tends to get packed in the evening. Also, notice how Friday only had 2 days of high crowds, but it also has the 3rd least amount of empty days with 19.


Honestly, you can't go wrong with going on a Tue - Thu. Looking at those numbers - Wed, Thu, Fri or Sun is probably the best day to go for you to avoid crowds. Sundays are tricky. If they fall on a holiday week they can be crowded. But a normal Sunday is usually pretty nice and if you are lucky it can be a ghost town on Sunday. Sundays also get less and less crowded as the day wears on and usually the last 3-5 hours of the park being open it is fairly dead; even more so when schools are in the next day. The other added benefit of Sunday is that if it isn't crowded, you also get the longer park hours still. So it can be a win-win then. Definitely avoid Saturday and Monday. Both are usually packed.
