ID:	7367333 I am not sure why but when I see this in Disneyland it reminds me most of being a kid. I love it so much and it is such a simple thing in Disneyland. Especially at night when it is all lit up. So I was wondering if any one else had odd things that remind them of being a child at Disneyland?

Timothy Mouse spinning on the Dumbo attraction. It still has magic.
I am old. But still love Disneyland.

Odd as it is, the smell of diesel fuel. I grew up in an area of s. orange county with very little truck traffic through it, so I was for the most part only exposed to diesel fuel via the trams and Autopia cars at Disneyland. As such I to this day love the smell and it immediately takes me back to Disneyland.

Seriously? ALL of Disneyland brings me back to being a kid. From the moment I step onto Main Street, I am all smiles and skipping and shameless indulgence in acting like a child. It's the only way to do it!

There's another odd smell, for me, that brings back nostalgia: whatever chemicals they used to clean the water for The Jungle Cruise. I now associate that smell with natural jungle water - just another sign that Disneyland has ruined forever left a mark on my life.

Just add some chlorine to the diesel and that takes me back to the Tomorrowland of my youth -- ascending the Speedramp to the monorail platform, passing over the crystalline waters of the sumbarine lagoon plied by grey vessels, and listening to the Sunshine Balloon or similar rocking out nearby (perhaps covering some Peaches and Herb or ELO tunes) .

              1. Peanut brittle on Main Street
              2. The water smell in Pirates
              3. Dole whips
              4. The Tea Cups music
              5. About 15 different sound clips used in Remember Dreams Come True (but especially the Baroque Hoedown)
