    Re: Stupid question

It can get into triple digits in September. Or it can be a good deal cooler. Good luck.

        Re: Stupid question

No matter how hot it is during the day, it will always cool off at night.

Probably due to the sun going away. Well duh!

          Re: Stupid question

I've been to the parks the first part of September three times in the last 5 years. Once it was VERY hot, but the other two times were comfortable (mid 80s)

                  Re: Stupid question

I can say this: we go on the weekend closest to my mom's birthday (Sep. 11), and every year the weather has been absolutely perfect. We couldn't ask for anything better. Couple that with the crowds being the best they are all year, and you have a perfect trip, in my opinion.

                    Re: Stupid question

The 1st half of September is usually pretty hot. The second half of September and the first half of October is unpredictable.

The one thing you need to consider at DL once the fall approaches are the return of the Santa Ana Winds. This more than anything causes the fireworks to be cancelled, just to let you know. So if you are staying more than one day and plan to see the fireworks it's always best to try and see the the first night you are there or risk not being able to see them at all.

in September it's possible to have a rare Socal thunderstorm hit. but yes, for the most part it is hot and humid.

                        Re: Stupid question

As humidity goes, anyone from anywhere else in the country would laugh at our humidity in southern California. It's nothing compared to anywhere else. But you probably won't need a sweater.
