Re: need advice from those of you that have been on RSR
I suggest get there at least 30 minutes prior to park opening. The Fast Pass line will get extremely long. I heard that it stretched all the way into Hollywoodland past the Animation Building just to get a Fast Pass. If you are going with a huge group, one person can grab the Fast Pass while the rest waits in the regular line.

Single rider line! We rode twice, and had an extremely reasonable wait time. Probably 20-30 minutes. Not too bad since it's only been open a week or so. Honestly, the line for fast pass was so outrageous, it seemed worse than the line for the ride.
Re: need advice from those of you that have been on RSR
I don't know what the avg. wait time is in the fast pass line, but it's so long you could mistake it for a stand-by line.
If you are concerned about going on RSR as many times in one day, I would go with single rider line. Although you will very likely be seated separately from the rest of your group I think it's worth cutting your wait time from 2-hr in standby to 30 minutes in single rider. I have never gotten a fast pass because it was always sold out before I got to the parks. But whenever I was in the single rider line for RSR we were definitely moving faster than the fast pass line.

i was at the early entry today for the AP holders, and the single rider line was moving so fast. i suggest single rider if it's open. most of them get to be in the same car with one from their group, just not in the same row.
