The good news is it sounds like I'm going to save a lot of money, the bad news is I won't get any cool cars land stuff. They sold out of cone cups, soundtracks, and tire hats!?!? What about the die cast tractors and racers? Anything cool cars Land left? Hoping to find a shirt with Oswald by himself with no text on it. I'm just bummed that when I get there they'll just have yellow and pink small shirts with Mickey and "Disney Parks"on it.

I'm not sure if they're sold out of all that stuff but if you really wanted them you could check on eBay. I get a lot of my Disney stuff there and often for cheaper than the park price! If it's not limited edition you could also call the Disney merchandise line and they might send it to you when they have it in stock.

I was there last wednesday and they had plenty of every item you mentioned: the cone cups, tire hats, and tractor toys (I bought one myself). Also there are in fact Oswald shirts with just him on it (no text). They are found on Buena Vista street. They also have Oswald plushes (got one of those, too).

I visited DCA yesterday and they had plenty of Oswald plushies and Oswald t-shirts. I didn't inspect the t-shirt closely, but like CheshireKitteh mentioned it had no text on it. You can find them at the Oswald gas station on your immediate left-hand side when you enter DCA.

Cone cups & Cars Land soundtrack CD are sold out. There are still lots of Cars Land items that say 'grand opening 2012' if you want something that mentions you were there during opening day. If you are looking for the June 15 "Greetings from Radiator Springs" post card there are plenty in the BVS stores by the cash register. The post card is not stocked in Cars Land at Lizzie's Curios Shop.

I saw a lot of diecast cars of the RSR attraction vehicles at Sarge's. I was tempted to buy one but I thought they were too small -- wish they made larger versions. I did see a lot of tractor tipping playsets if that's what you were looking for.

Al Lutz reported that tire hats will be gone by the end of this weekend but there seemed to be a lot on the shelves Saturday (6/23).

Also, there are plenty of items from the special June 15th merchandise event in stock on BVS (e.g. storytellers statue, June 15 suede hats, shirts etc.)

I'm going mid July. Sounds like there will be at least 1-2 cool things to get even if things sell out. So I'll get some cool stuff and still have a little money for groceries when I get back. Glad they have some fun stuff an not just ads for "Disney Parks."

There were still a lot of Luigi's Tire Hats as of Sunday evening at 6pm. Maybe they found a little extra stock somewhere, or the popularity/novelty is wearing out. I only saw two guests wearing them the entire day.

Now that you mention it... on Saturday I saw at most 25 people wearing tire hats.

I don't think Disney will stop producing these tire hats any time soon but I really want to get one on my next visit. I must have stopped at the stores 3 different times just to stare at it and try it on.

These aren't temporary items. By the time you go, the soundtrack and cups might very well be back. Those and the Buena Vista monorail accessory pack is all I've noticed missing.

Last time I went, which was Friday the 22, they were still selling opening day T-Shirts. The ones put out were the last in stock. I went ahead and bought one to put up on my wall because I did go on opening day but forgot to buy the T-Shirt, so now I have proof to show to my friends that I was there when it all began.

they said that they sold out on father's day and they're waiting for a new shipment to arrive.

I hope they get these by the end this weekend... I'm so mad at myself that I didn't go crazy when I was there for the media preview on the 14th!! I wish I had bought more stuff

Cone cups are sold out but they're not gonna be gone forever. We still have commemorative shirts, cups, and 'toothpick holders', some champions hoodies that say grand opening and low and slow shirts that say grand opening on them. These are all at elias and co as of yesterday.

I plan on dropping by DLR on Saturday to buy some tire hats. Are there any tire hats left? If so, do you think there are enough leftover for purchase on Saturday?

There have been tire hats for sale over the last two days, so cross your fingers, I guess! (And get them at Elias & Co, don't go the whole way to Cars Land for them!!)

Once this batch of CDs sells out, I would not expect another batch as they are Limited Edition and marked as such. Disney can not just keep reproducing them.

UPDATE: Mission Accomplished. I got my tire hat!

Like ghosty4 said, I made sure to check out Elias & Co. on BVS for Cars Land merch and found lots of opening day merchandise (e.g. CL, BVS, & Red Trolley). However, they didn't have any tire hats -- that really had me worried so I rushed over to CL. I checked out all 3 merch. shops in CL and only found 1 rack of tire hats @ Sarge's. I don't know if it's been made official but I believe tire hats are, as of June 30, sold out. Around 7 pm the rack of tires @ Sarge's that I saw in the morning, had no tire hats on it but instead was stocked with backpacks.
