[Question] Splash Mountain Sooner or Later

so i was listening to Splash Mountain Audio on Youtube but i dont remember hearing it on the ride. can anyone tell me what happened to this song? i like it better than the current one though.

and also for the love of God someone tell me why so many things in Disneyland's Splash Mountain arent working, Brer Bear on the rope, Brer Rabbit on the ore car thing, the volture and like ten other things. its making me mad

I've been going for the past few weeks every Mon, Wed, and Friday. I've talked with the CM's there and they said it's been like that for a long time, which is strange since they just had a refurbishment. It's still in poor condition, but is steadily improving. I've seen animatronics return and lights being turned on again that were either gone or off before.

I'm glad the B'rer Rabbit on the car-thing is actually broken and I'm not just going crazy. I remember riding many times last year and thinking: "I swear that thing used to move..."

the song is sooner or later, look it up on youtube
type: splash mountain sooner or later. it was what the possum and the rabbit sung before the lift instead of the creepier song before you went up the hill

I actually forgot they refurbished it a while ago...I thought it looked more glitchier than ever last time I went a few weeks ago.

It is, just as an instrumental version though. No lyrics at all.

I'm not sure about you, but I find the Splash Mountain Queue music to be rather relaxing. If you remove the Zip-a-Dee-Do-Dah, How Do Ya Do, and Everybody's Got a Laughing Place instrumentals from the loop, you actually get a really relaxing track. It is my understanding that they replaced Sooner or Later with Burrow's Lament not long after the ride opened because SoL didn't build up enough eerie suspense and anticipation as you were about to go up the final lift hill.

Sooner or later is a great song, but doesn't fit the forboding pre-drop scene. I love hearing it in the queue.
