[Question] World Of Color Viewing Chart, Tips and Changes for Summer 2012

I figured I could start a thread where new visitors can get informed about the current ever changing viewing sections that is World Of Color.

I seriously wish they could just get rid of the viewing section but it seems they are no plans to ditch them.

The viewing section I'm the most interested in is or was the center viewing section that has been referred to as the "preferred viewing section". From what I've been told on another thread is that the new Carthay Circle viewing section is now in the top right section where the wheelchair access and viewing area is... Blue section I think.

So what the heck is the center viewing section now?

Any help on newbies and people who are visiting the Disneyland Resort this summer.

Hopefully we can discuss here the new dining packages and the Fast Pass WoC tips here for Summer 2012.

every time I've been the blue section was the bridge and left side if looking at mickeys fun wheel, and every time i go it seems these sections never change.

I did a photo tutorial a little while ago discussing and showing the new viewing sections and how SCREWED UP it is. Hopefully this will answer some of your questions.

How many times is Disney going to change the viewing arrangements for WOC?! Is there a reason they keep changing seating plans? I thought I had it down but now it's completely different. Thanks for the heads up Hot Sauce 1!

See the problem with Hot Sauce's info is with the addition of Carthay Circle "fast passes" and someone detailing that they are now no longer put in the center section but now off to the side. If the center viewing area is now 'VIP' then how much did they pay to get in there and what's the point of eating and viewing if the view isn't as great or any better than grabbing a fast pass.

This is why I ask for an update Summer 2012 report. Hopefully folks who visit the park regularly can give us all soon to be visiting guests the newest updates 'cause you know when I ask the people on the phone over at Disney Dining they are trained to say "every section is a great viewing section". Sure it is.

I did the 'center stage' or whatever for CCT WOC passes and I have to say I was really happy with what we got. We showed up just 15 mins before show time and still had a great view! I dont know if it was just because it was a good area and not as many people as they shouldve been but it was very a very good spot! Probably the best I ever had and I been in every section in the viewing area including three dining FPs.

That said since they are always changing these areas it tells you Disney knows most of the viewing area is still pretty bad and sounds like they are trying their best to make the upper $eating as best as possible! Honestly, there is really NO guarantees you are going to get a great view, even when you are litterally paying for it. It really is the luck of the draw and how many people are in front of you at the end of the day.
