  • [Question] Merchandise revenue

So I recently read an article here. I would have never guessed 20%!!
Merchandise sales typically generate about 20% of theme park revenue
Wow! So spikes could be what? 30%... or maybe more?!!

    That's huge.

So I can only imagine that food and beverage is less. maybe 10-15%. Beverages more than food obviously. Isn't much of the food prepared on site?

The clothes are made over seas. That's the reasoning why the profit is so high?

    Re: Merchandise revenue

It is because EVERYONE owns Disney stuff. I live in Southern California and you can not get on the freeway without seeing a Disney licenes plate frame, antenna ball, or decal. I could almost argue that you couldn't park in a parking lot and not see one or some. Now this is just on their car. And only FANs I think will put stuff on their car for the world to see. So if you consider anything in their home, kid's toys, and clothes. Yeah... they sell a ton of $#!T.

Well, one thing you learn quick as a parent is kids out-grow stuff really really fast too.
