Re: what's your favorite area music?
Well my favorite used to be the old Paradise Pier music, but they replaced that track to fit the Victorian theme. I'd say the Tomorrowland area music is my new favorite just because when I was a kid I was obsessed with the "There's A Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow" version that plays in the loop for some reason. I searched online EVERYWHERE to find just that part, and eventually I found it in the background of an imagineer interview. I also like the old Main Street loop that played until a few months ago, because of the nostalgia of sitting on the curb on a summer night with my cousins just before watching the fireworks.

That dixielandjazz that plays in NOS is wonderful! I'm also fond othe "western" music that plays in Frontierland.http://micechat.com/forums/disneylan...oto-heavy.html

The Swisskapolka, formerly audible all throughout the Treehouse but now more limited to one location.
The Splash Mountain line/barn music and exit music are nice, with woodsy/bluegrass sounding renditions of the Song of the South score.
Tower of Terror area big band music is also quite good.when the spooks have a midnight jamboree....

I like the aviation period music played around Condor Flats. Always great stuff with some John Williams thrown in..
I also like the jazz tunes in the Monsters Inc. queue.:meet: Because Bert Said So! :meet:

Re: what's your favorite area music?
As mentioned by others I really do love Main Street Xmas loop. I also love the acoustic folk/country loop up at Big Thunder Ranch (not the restaurant, the ranch house). I also love the silliness and variety of the full on hour long Jungle Cruise loop complete with jungle news bulletins.First Visit at the age of 12, July 17, 1968.First Ride, The Disneyland and Santa Fe Railroad.BRING BACK THE PEOPLE MOVER!

I agree, but I'll go a little bit more specific. I LOVE the music you hear as you first walk into the building. That simple, lower key version of the theme just conjours up so many memories and emotions for me regarding the ride, and Disneyland in general.http://micechat.com/forums/disneylan...oto-heavy.html

And there is no love for the music that blares out of the radios at both the Jungle Cruise and Temple of the Forbidden Eye :cfrown:
