  • [Question] Astro Blasters Buz Lightyear covered/malfunctions.

Is Buz Lightyear on Astro blasters still covered? A few weeks ago when I rode, he was covered, and the final Buz's face was like....way off from the words, and the ride stopped a lot. Does anyone know if it's gonna get refurbished? Or what could cause something like this (the projection's video being faster than the words) to happen?

Last week Buzz was fine. And the ride stopping alot was probably a handicap or slow person.

When I was there on June 3rd Buzz was completely removed from the ride.

Instead on Nemo they should nuke buzz. And why are they running the attraction when such a large figure isn't working?

            Le sigh

Yup! that is what I thought. It just looks a little shabby. Like they really don't give it any attention at all.

He was there on the 21st of this month. Buzz is too cool. He keeps an otherwise boring queue from being torture.

A couple of days ago the ride was up and running with no sign of anything amiss.

Except that almost 1/4 of the paint on all of the vehicles is missing and the guns are woefully mis-calibrated.

I really think this ride needs to go... I think the ride was placed there at the right time when it was needed and now it is no longer needed. It doesn't look like they are too worroed about keeping it up.

It's too bad you couldn't just pick up and move the whole ride. It would be much better with a Woody' Round Up overlay over in Frotnierland

Tomorrowland needs to be re-imagined, and Buzz/Nemo/Autopia is not in the new direction it needs.
