                I love Cars and this was one of the cutest things I've ever seen. I really like John Lasseter and this was a really great commercial. But whenever I see these I always ask myself, "When do they film it?" Do they do it early in the morning?

                  I actually saw the kids driving around in the esplanade a few weeks back and wondered what it was for. This was on our way to magic morning so I guess there's your answer! Early morn at the crack of dawn!

                        I agree that Mr. Lasseter is genuine and friendly. I've said many times that John is the closest thing to Uncle Walt since he passed away....integrity wise, and as a sound creative businessman.

                        Fortunately, Sheriff Lightyear (in the post below) answered your question as to when the commercial was shot.

                        Wow! That really was a magic morning! I bet it was great fun watching those mega cute kids having the time of their lives wheeling around in their little electric cars. I'll bet John Lasseter had just as much of a good time buzzing about in his. The man truely seems to be a big kid at heart.

                        I'm not certain where the ad is running. Though, I strongly suspect it is being aired on Disney owned channels.

                                Thank you for finally answering! I always watch these videos and when there isn't anyone else in the park I just can't believe the filmed it early in the morning! Those kids probably got up pretty early, but they better of had lots of fun in the park later to make up for it.

                                  Yep. Most day time Disneyland commericals like that are short early in the morning way before the park opens.I just love the John Lasseter part at the end.
