[Question] How do you get carsland buttons?

How do you get the Carsland buttons? I have gone to CL 4 times since it opened been asking cast members for them every one seems to be out of them or has on idea what I am talking about so far I only have 1 purple dizzy u-turn button please help thanks

the people that are doing crowd control has them.... I have gotten 10 so far they were not giving out many the first weekend... my friend said last weekend they were giving out alot... might try and get more this weekend. Also i heard u get a bunch if rsr goes down however I was not there personally.

There were a bunch of them at Luigi's Flying Tires that CMs were occasionally spontaneously offering, and also if you just asked them about the buttons they'd get you what you wanted, if they had it. This was just outside Luigi's office in the covered patio section of the queue, fwiw.

They had them behind the counter at Flo's. They were free, but I forgot to request one when I was ordering my food.

We just had a couple of CMs give them to us. One was while we were standing in the long FP line and one was because the CM thought our little boy was cute .

i was there last Sunday for APEE and I got 4 out of 6. the first one i got i asked a CM girl in front of Curios and she just smiled at me while giving it to me without saying anything! it was kind of weird lol. the next one i got i saw a CM at the register giving it to a little girl at the Churros Cozy Cone. when it was our turn i asked her for one, but she only had a specific color so i didn't mind! the next two ones i got it from a CM while in line for Luigi's. he was so funny, he just threw it at the floor and i grabbed it lol. then i got my fourth one while waiting longer cause Luigi's was experiencing some technical difficulties. i think just ask CMs and maybe the registers when you go pay cause they probably have some tucked behind the counter

i'm missing the blue and green one still. anybody know if they still have it? i plan to collect the last 2 tomorrow before i get blocked out for the summer

I asked five different cashiers for them and they each sent me to a different store, who in turn did not have them either and offered another store that may have them.

So I asked this nice CM named Amanda in front of Curios today for buttons, who in turn challenged me to some random questions about my favorite Disney movie (The Little Mermaid). It was hard, but still she gave me the last 2 buttons I needed

They look like these, but I took this picture from Sunday night, so it doesn't have the blue and green ones.


I think they're everywhere at this point. You could see which CM has it on their hands.

I've seen them distributed:
• At the "A Happy Place" mural.
• When Luigi's Flying Tires broke down.
• Right inside Cars Land with some sort of Disney Trivia Contest being conducted by a CM (today).
• I think one other place, too, but can't remember where right now.

What I'm curious about is, did you go to the website (which is what it's advertising) and make a car? People seem a little feverish about them, so when I see a hoard of people around a random Cars Land Cast Member for no obvious reason I steer clear. I'm just curious if anyone is actually doing what the buttons are advertising?

I saw a cast member at the entrance to CL holding a stack in his hands so I asked for one and had to answer a trivia question (my choice of DCA or Disneyland trivia) for it. It was a fairly easy question -- the answer was "London."

I had a CM at Luigi's give us 4 (family) when we were next in line for the ride. It was cute, she came over and quietly said "Have you gotten any buttons?", and I said (not quietly), "Buttons?? No", and she went "Shhhhh" and looked around. She went away for a sec and then brought us over the buttons with her hand closed around them and slipped them to me.

It was cute and my kids loved it.

There was a CM on the road in front of Flo's today with a big clear plastic bag full of buttons giving them out. It looked like he had all of the different types as there were kids with 6 or so different buttons on their shirts.

On June 30, I spotted one CM in front of Radiator Springs Curios with a bag full of different colored CL buttons. I went up to her and she asked me a Disney trivia question. The questions aren't difficult -- I was asked "what is the name of the princess who lives under the sea?" -- and she let me choose whichever color button I wanted.

I really enjoy this new way of handing them out. It's a really fun way for CMs to interact with guests. When I visited DLR a few weeks ago they just passed them out without saying anything. I even witnessed a guest becoming hostile and demanding a CM for a specific color. I felt horrible for the CM who looked stunned and didn't know what to say.
