Since when is Screemin' an extreme coaster? I think a change to the music would be a good thing. I really like the Rockin' soundtrack they had. That would make no sense to bring back, but it was better than what they have now (not theme wise, but as a song choice for a roller coaster)

And you can't get rid of the tubes as they are kinda required.

I wouldn't have a problem with this statement if the queue were actually more detailed like TSM but what we have here is a queue that looks slightly better than a carnival, this is not the standard we should ever see from Disney again. California Screamin should actually have the best queue on the boardwalk, I don't understand why Disney overlooked their star attraction in Paradise Pier.

I mean...I'm sure there would be a way to make Seamin a lot nice lookers...by adding rock work...but Disney will not put money in that ride unless they have too...and it gets enough crowds to not need a real "theme" which sucks

Move Jumpin' Jellyfish (retrofitted as hot-air balloons) to the empty helix and put the carousel with some meet-and-greet space behind in the former Maliboomer helix. Add a tunnel or two and make sure the music works. Enclose the queue, make it two levels so the Hot Air Balloons have a queue (or they can use the carousel space).

    Done.

The "Screamin' Tubes" are also needed to not let guests see out side the theme park...

I think you're right. They were a city ordnance or something like that.

I agree with the music part as well. Last month, the music was in and out through the whole thing.

California Screamin' on piano - YouTube

This video has the existing soundtrack played on a piano... It shows how it it could potentially sound. Now imagine it with a bit more appropriate brass instruments filling in some of the gaps from the original soundtrack into a swing or ragtime style or even orchestral style.

To see what I mean is imagine this band playing modified rhythms from the original ride score on horns. (Skip to about 2:32 in)
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U1NBtFANKDA

It doesn't have to be a complete musical change out more appropriate instrumentation

Maybe not this particular piece, but something with a similarly fast tempo:

I love screaming but landscaping has always detracted from the ride. To me what makes disney's coasters is the amazing details that surround you and Sreaming basically doesn't have any. The detail is the Pier, but i just don't care much for that style. I hope someday we'll get a little more in terms of tunnels or details. Even the small rock cave that was shown on the redisgned PP would have been a step up.

You go from the new loop playing all over Paradise Pier to Screamin's wailing rock guitar track with carnival accents from DCA 1.0. While I do love the current soundtrack for Screamin and loved how it fit the coaster as part of DCA 1.0, I am totally on board with a change for a more thematically correct Screamin for DCA 2.0.

You could even take it a bit further and put a modified version of the 2nd Hungarian Rhapsody from the Paradise Pier Goofy show and use it on Goofy's Sky School to give it the extra kick the ride needs.
