  • [Question] Do The Indy Jeeps Dispatch From Loading Station Too Quickly?

I noticed that right when the other jeep before you goes through one of the doors, your jeep automatically takes off.

    I mean for example,

Last time on the ride, after the jeep before us went through one of the doors, our jeep took off. No joke, our jeep was close enough to the people before us, if we went a bit faster we could have been in the same room with them in the Hall of Promise.
The doors were still open too.

They were still going up the little hill climb that leads straight up to mara. We saw them take off and the room go black then change color when we entered.

I think the reason for the doors never closing now after a jeep before you passing through is because the vehicle dispatches too soon, hence doesnt give the Chamber of Destiny enough time to work its magic and instead is stuck with the doors wide open taking away the illusion of going through a different door.

    I dunno, maybe I'm wring.

    Thoughts?

The ride originally didn't dispatch the cars so close together. The ride opened with a very small maintenance area aswell. If I remember correctly, the maintenance area and time between cars were both changed in the first year. A bigger maintenance area, and cars much close. Part of the problem with the broken or missing effects is the spacing between the cars.

I don't think the interval has changed; the Chamber of Destiny doors are just not closing properly to hide the prior vehicle.

Did they break again? The doors were broken for a long time, then were working fine within the last month.

I hate to hijack the thread, but it got me thinking. Is there a preferred side to take when you reach the stairs in the queue? It seems like no matter which side I pick the other side loads about 100,000 guests before my side starts moving again.

                ^Same lol

I think it just happens sometimes. It all depends on how fast they are dispatching back at the station.

I like the right side as it has a longer ride time from departing from the loading station, well I think anyways.

I went a few weeks ago and the doors were working, but from our recent trip I feel in the summer they load the vehicles quickly/faster at every ride to keep lines moving do you think that is true?

Ex. On pirates it was non stop boats entering and on screamin the coaster would launch then a few seconds the next one would enter and in less then a minute a part they launch but it was like this on every ride I went on.

The door was likely broken. And the interval depends on how many cars are on the track. At 15 cars it's a fast interval otherwise the station backs up.

Left side, it is ever so slightly shorter (inside turn) and you don't have to walk as far when you come back to the station.
