  • Trip Report Finally got to go on Radiator Springs

So me and my gf finally decide we are going to wait it out and get on Radiator Springs. We get to Disneyland around 8PM and my mousewait app on my Iphone says its 105 Minutes so I think hey not bad at all we can do it easy. We got in the line and it appeared to be moving fairly steady, after a little while it started moving a lot slower. Little by little we moved through the queue and I captured photos with my camera to help pass the time. In total I believe we waited around 2 hours and 20 minutes to get on the ride which is way longer than the 105 stated at the entrance. A lot of unhappy and tired kids were in that line, I kinda felt sorry for them. Overall I have to say the ride is pretty awesome. I absolutely loved every second of it, I truly felt like I was part of the Cars movie. I finally got home around midnight, a total of 4 hours used up for one ride, IMO it was well worth it but I would love it that wait could be shorter.

    Some pics....

2 hours and 20 minutes?! OUCH!
It's actually "Cars Land", not "Carsland".

Yeah! My Fiance and I wanted to ride it together on the first time. However, it broke down three times. Still, we both exited very happily! BTW, great pics erdon! I'm glad you were satisfied as well after an extended wait.

You may need to check back later. They periodically close the single rider line when it gets too long.

It was 65 minutes an hour before the park closed on the 28th. This might have been because RSR was recovering from two lengthy downtimes, the last of them started at 6:15 and resumed operation at 7:30-ish.
Many Bothans died to bring you these fastpasses.

What lovely photos! I waited four hours at the longest for RSR. That was in the hot, afternoon sun, too. Not. fun.

Technically speaking, I waited in line for RSR for 14 hours. After that, 4 hours is nothing. 1 hour for Single Rider, too, is nothing for me. Totally worth every second spent in line- it's an amazing ride!! Glad you enjoyed it too!

RSR single rider line isn't a single rider line it's a 'line for groups that do not want to wait in long regular standby line'

Yes. I've ridden the ride 5 or 6 times and all but one were in the single rider line, the other time was in the FastPass line. I have yet to wait in the standby line.

The single rider opens and closes constantly. The longest I've ever waited for it to open is about 15 or 20 min. Tack on 35 to 40 minutes in that line and it is still far shorter than 2 plus hours in standby.

Yeah. They close the single rider line when it gets full. They don't want it to get too crowded.
