'Guardians of the Galaxy' is Marvel's 2014 mystery movie, 'Avengers 2' set for 2015 release marvel's new movie Guardians of the Galaxy ,to be released in 2014, centers around a super hero team from the 31st century trying to stop an alien race from taking over the earths solar system. Could this be the movie disney is waiting for to do a tomorrowland revamp? The movie is apparently supposed to involve time travel so the team can fight alongside the Avengers. I'd prefer this over stark expo anyday.

There are actually 2 different versions of the Guardians of the Galaxy. There's the 31st century Guardians and then there's the more modern near-present day Guardians, which is what I'm betting the film will revolve around. I don't see any good reason why Marvel would bring out a film that takes place a thousand years in the future when they're attempting to set up Avengers 2. Could the film take place in 31st century instead of the 21st? Yes. There's always the possibility. But I serious doubt it. -

Yeah, they'll keep it modern day team most likely considering they've been promoting the newer Guardians in a lot of media lately between Rocket Raccoon in MvC3U and the team's appearance on Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. to me i would see the avengers in autopia and finding nemo and it's tough to say that but also innovations can have a bridge tothe second area of the que as like a full indoor style que with a futurestic style an as for ride design i would see a amazing spiderman type attraction but with avengers and would compete against transformers ride style and why... it is also used in other parks around the world and would be cool like in your own helicarrier mini and themed to the avengers.I'm working as i'm with my autobots.Comment

I'm tired of movies about fighting off aliens. Seriously. In Star Wars, Star Trek, E.T., and other movies people aren't fighting off aliens. Can't we have a ride set in the future where aliens AREN'T involved? Thank you. Even at the end of the Advengers I was angry. How many times can you trash New York it looses its stops repairing itself magically the goverment makes a new one? How many races of aliens can you destroy before Earth is safe? Where are the good aliens, and why don't they help us?
As you can tell, I'm sick of aliens and their discrimination! What if actual aliens come to Earth and see all this media we have about them? Won't that be enough to cause a war with us? The article that was linked to doesn't confirm anything. It is still speculating on what the mystery movie may be. The other rumor is that the mystery movie will be Black Panther. I think I'll wait until there is an official announcement from Marvel/Disney as to what the movie is before I get excited."Greetings, Starfighter! Actually the Guardians of the Galaxy are almost all aliens or at least part aliens. Assuming that it is the more recent team there are just the two humans Starlord and Moondragon, and Starlord is half human/half Spartoi. Moondragon is a human, but has spent most her life amoung aliens.
The Ops article is pretty poor. It gives the origin of the original team, but uses a picture of the more recent team.Comment

thanos will be making an apperance in the guardians of the galaxy. so i doubt it will be set in the future seeing how thanos is set to be the main bad guy in avengers 2. and seeing how these characters are lesser known then the avengers i doubt they will go out and try to build an guardians of the universe attraction. also in other news edgar wright just finished a test reel of what his antman movie will look like. so black panther may be scrapped. but we'll all have to wait till comi-con
