The show is seemless and superior to WoC for this reason alone.

No ugly infrastructure jetting up out of the water and such.

I really dislike all those light houses skirting the bay. It's alot of visual clutter.
    Amen to this!!!

when you watch this video, you can see fireworks are launched from black boxes in the lagoon. i would assume those black tubes sticking out of the water aren't for fireworks. they were there when i went last Monday.

Green/brown/blue would be a seasonal thing.

With changes in the seasons (to simplify it) you'll see different types of algae growing at different times of the year.

If you look closely you can tell there's a something greyish brown that the algae is growing on. I'd say it's a piece of plaster from one of the artificial rocks around the bay that broke off. It would explain both the algae (if the plaster was submerged before it broke off) and why it's together like that!

I wouldn't say most beaches in CA are Blue maybe like Greenish or a mixture of Green and Blue

Totally forgot that July was near (and right now) and realized it's for the fireworks.

Haha, it does actually now that you mention it. I thought it was funny that a duck did happen to be swimming around at the time I was snapping shots of that thing.

Probably because you'd be able to see all the mechanical stuff for WOC at the bottom.

I've seen brown water in California...it was in this same exact beach that my friend and I (we were like ten-years-old) were attacked by a large mangy carpet someone had thrown into the water...
