Re: "Mad Tea Party"....
You are at a Disney park...?From what I can remember there have been nighttime parties at Disneyland for a long time in one incarnation or another. There's pictures of me at age 6 in 1994, dancing on a dance floor at night in Disneyland. It's not new.

Re: "Mad Tea Party"....
1. Disney parks are known for having nighttime dance parties.
2. A nightclub perfectly fits the theme of Hollywood Land, considering Hollywood is known for nightclubs.
3. It's called Mad T Party. Mad Tea Party is a spinning ride in Fantasyland.

Re: "Mad Tea Party"....
It's a mixed bag for me. While I love bands and live music so much more than a DJ with all the dubstep flavored stuff the setlist is WAY to shallow. They need original tunes(with a Disneyish flavor), I know they have talented people that can create them for the band.

Re: "Mad Tea Party"....
It is a crying shame that they didn't go with something closer to the era depicted on BVS. I know my family and most of our friends (all locals) would come for something like that quite often. As with the other parties, this one makes us avoid this area of the park when the music starts up.

Re: "Mad Tea Party"....
To be fair, the MI ride entrance is right next to the stage and you'd have to know how to detour around it to get there easily during the show.
To be critical, the Mad T set list never seems to change and even though I've only seen it a few times I feel like I've already "seen it" and would much rather go to Tomorrowland Terrace and see the bands over there, since the TLT bands vary their setlists from night to night.
But, to be fair, the Mad T "band" is actually a rotating cast performing a scripted theme park stage show with a band format and the TLT bands are real bands hired for the night and accustomed to providing variety for the audience's (and probably their own) enjoyment. Does DL provide input into setlists for TLT bands, or is it up to them to provide appropriate setlists to ensure their being asked back?
