  • [Chat] Balancing both parks?

Now, It might be too soon to say this but
Ever since DCA 2.0 as started, wait times in both parks seem to be pretty manage-able.
Both Disneyland and DCA have wait times for their major attractions from 15-30 minutes.
Now I dont wanna get to excited here, but it seems like DCA really has helped the crowds
Am i the only one whose noticed this?

It has...for now. I'm estimating that things will get a 5 minute bump across the park once Cars Land hype dies down and things go back to normal. Not that another 5 minutes is very long in each line.

Yep noticed as well! Maybe thats what Al was referring to when he was talking about attendance patterns and how it was changing. It does seem like a really great balance is happening! I been to DL a few times last few weeks and the place just feels so light now. Obviously this is not a huge shock, but whats surprising for me is even though DCA is clearly much more busy, the waits is not all that bad either! It seems like RSR is taking most of the attention, but I think they were smart to spread entertainment all around the park and not only is that keeping people busy, its probably keeping them off of attractions as well!

DL being less people long term will help as well and oddly DCA being a little more crowded doesnt feel bad at all. In some ways better because the park feels it has a lot of energy now. Its been that way at night for a few years now thanks to WOC and ElecTRONica, but now the park is like that all day now.

It is amazing how well DCA 2.0 is balancing things out. This shouldve happened years ago. We'll see how long it lasts though.

Sorry, i have no idea about that because i had visited only Disney Land and never go at DCA. but i known that Disney Land is good for all the age's persons. There have more fun with attract many thousands of visitors in a month. Specially between August to December weather is cloudy and good for spend time at this type of place.

What he's saying (and its true...i've been to the parks since Carsland)

Is that many attractions at Disneyland are getting shorter lines because people are spending sooo much time in Carsland...Especially in the morning really Indy on many days does not get up to 40 mins until noon

Even at DCA...Ride like toy Story which used to have 20-40 min wait times right when the park opened are now walk's (to 5 min waits) for the first hour....the "off" season this year will be great for AP's that for sure
            Happy Halloween!!!
