  • [Question] Disneyland on the 4th

I have never been there on the 4th of July out of curiosity how is the firework show? is it bigger and better than the rest? Christmas Holiday time and Halloween Party seem pretty hard to beat.

I was there last year, and it was amazing. Hope to go there tomorrow night as well.

        Re: Disneyland on the 4th

You can watch a video of the current "Celebrate America" fireworks in this thread (not my video):

I saw the show on Monday night from right in front of Toontown and it's spectacular but shorter than the typical fireworks. There's definitely more fireworks going off at any one time, though (and more different *types* of fireworks, I think). Shorter but wider, if you will.

My question would be if it's the same show every night or if there's extra "plussing" on the 4th...

A shorter version is played from July 1-3 which lasts about 10 minutes. A longer 15 minute show is played on July 4th.

                  That's what I found.

I saw the show from the hub on the 4th and it was interesting to see the projections on the castle and the fireworks set off from the castle roof (or wherever) but the sheer spectacle of fireworks literally filling the sky in front of you when viewed from the Toontown gate (where I usually watch any fireworks and I saw the Monday show) can't be beat. And there's never any crowd there.
