    [Fun] Best Buys in Disneyland

    From the Lagoon of Liquidspaceman...
Here is a picture of my daughter's balloon she got on our way out, from Disneyland. The inside balloon is somewhat deflated, but the outside balloon is still touching the ceiling after 32 days from when we bought it. I was going to post a daily update, but that never happened. I think this was a great value for $7.00, considering it was from DL. This got me thinking, what other great values are there in DL? Food or souvenirs...

My mum and I were marveling at the Disney Animator's Collection yesterday. Those seem (comparatively) very well priced.

I've been a fan of all of my keepsakes from the resort and i think they've all been reasonably priced.

Dole Whip gives you the most bang for your buck at Disneyland.

Two people can share one for about the same price as a soda.

...the buys at the Character Warehouse, when they have decent stuff there.

The pins are also priced reasonably.

My two favs are the Mugs (awesome quality for the price) and the magic towels The magic towels (the ones that they shrink up and then expand in water) were my go to souvenir whenever I went as a kid and I still get them now for my kids.

When I saw the thread title, I read it as Best Buy in Disneyland and thought this was about Innoventions.

Actually, one of the best values there is the turkey leg. When we don't feel like actually sitting down for a meal we are able to split one very nicely and not feel hungry.

As an avid pin trader, I personally think that some of the open edition ones are WAY over priced. Many of the pins that sell for $10 at DL you could get for $3 on eBay, but I guess you can't be sure if they're authentic. I say go for the limited edition ones at the parks though .

I think a lot of the die cast ride vehicles are a really good buy. I got a parking tram and monorail for $15 each, which is pretty good for Disney's standards IMO.

The Glow with the Show Ears are pretty cool for $25 as well!

I have to agree with the above about turkey legs. It's a meal for two at about $10. It's hard to complain about that. I'd argue and say that the leather bracelets from Frontierland are still a great buy despite price increases. It's a trendy accessory and a rite of passage for many. Not to mention a great souvenir.
