Well here's some before afters of DCA,

DCA BEFORE AND AFTER PICTURES:

1. ENTRANCE:

Before: Cheap looking Postcard style Billboards with "California" spelled letters and replica of Golden Gate Bridge.


After: Good looking replica of Pan Pacific Aquarium entrance, and wonderful view of Buena Vista Street with excellent trees and details.



2. ENTRY LAND:

Before: Bland & Mediocre architecture with Golden Gate Bride replica.


After: Cleaner and much more better looking architectural feeling with some nice beautification. And a more proper looking entry land.



3. HOLLYWOOD SECTION:

Before: Mediocre rip-off off DHS and such with bland looking signs.


After: Almost Better looking area (mostly due to Red Car Trolly and new look for DJLOS building).



4. NEW LAND:

Before: Another parking lot for cars and such.


After: An brand new land themed to Disney/Pixar's Cars with excellent attractions and such.



5. PARADISE PIER:

Before: Bland and cheap rip-off off California Boardwalks with rarely any Disney theming.


After: Better theming and more disney and victorian boardwalk feel to Paradise Pier.

It's amazing how mad have to be the WDI to design paradise pire, just think about it, a replica of a Californian Pier with a giant peach, a Wild Mouse themed as a strange driving test, many giant jellyfish... what were they thinking?

I liked the CALIFORNIA letters, but I think that overall the improvements are worth their loss. Besides, I thought I read that they are coming to CAL EXPO, which is just down the street from me. I can visit them!!

After comparing the maps, DCA 1.0 isn't even funny. I can't believe they'd actually allow that pathetic looking place to be called a Disney theme park. Who thought that was an acceptable attempt at Disney quality, anyways?
