[Idea] Instead of Tomorrowland how about Yesterdayland?

I love Tomorrowland but if you are going to change it I think examining the past should be considered too, there are lots of attractions you could bring back and you could fix the past mistakes.

I would bring back: Adventure Thru Inner Space, PeopleMover, Motorboat cruise, Rainbow Caverns Mine Train (but with the newer seven dwarves technology that is being used in wdw) and the Malibomber? ok kidding on the Bomber.

I would actually prefer Tomorrowland stay, just be updated.

While I like the idea of being able to ride past attractions again, putting them together in such a way seems more like a hodge-podge of museum pieces rather than an actual themed land.

It's a novel idea to bring back past rides, but I don't like the thought of comprising Tomorrowland to do this. I think Captain EO represents the idea that some things from the past shouldn't be brought back.

There's no way Disney execs would approve a land of previous flop attractions

But if it came true, I would absolutely love to see some of the ones I never got to experience, like the Carousel of Progress, America Sings, Circarama..

Tomorrowland needs to be updated thru and thru. I'd love to experience rides from the past that I never got to see, but not at the expense of losing TL. I don't mind suggestion or inspiration from past rides into new ones, however.

The fact that the rides are no longer there is in no way indicative that they were flop attractions. Many past attractions were far superior to those that replaced them.

I think if they did a new Adventure Thru Inner Space (did they really spell it "Thru"? I've forgotten) with modern ride technology -- think Indy style of manic movement but zipping and careening around sub-atomic particles (ahem, Higgs Boson), that would be awesome (especially with nods to the original...like the illusion of going up into microscope thing). It could make a great attraction and the retro appeal would play well in PR. It would have to make sense in the updated theme/approach for the land however.

Never went on it, its the one ride type i don't like. fact only i know: "maliboomer" closed on my birthday in 2010.
