Now that DCA has been remodeled should the finale of Soarin' soar over the park and end up at world of color or stick with Disneyland finale?

I say keep it the same. The whole point is to showcase California icons. What fits that better than Disneyland?

Yeah agreed! Keep it the same! DL is still a big icon of California and the world in general and its a nice nod to the place that started it all.

the one thing I would change is to not have it be christmas at DL unless it is that time of year lol, its a little odd to see a xmas tree in july

Maybe start the final scene at dca fly over the entrys of both parks and end in dl so u get both parks in same shot

I think it may be Christmas because they wanted the park lit up and they don't have any other night parade to film.

Keep it the same. Yeah that makes sense with the small world, Xmas tree, garlands etc than just the normal Dl with no lights.

if they ever redo the entire thing i'd want a soarin' to soarin' video. so you start in florida at epcot and you head west and soar over america and its wonders until you get to the disneyland resort

I like that idea, but I think it would be better at EPCOT. The west coast version should remain about California.

but the movie here either needs to blend in each scene or make a new one all together

I'm all for updating the film, but I still think it should remain about CA, at least in this park.

maybe they could show WOC at a different point during the show,
and still keep DL at the end.
That part always makes me cry, anyway, so I don't want it taken out :P

That is what I was thinking. Perhaps do the close flyover as if we were going through the water jets and then into the Castle. That would be cool!

The only thing that would be cool if Soarin' went digital, they can have a finale at Disneyland reflect the time of day and season. I think it would be kind of rad actually if Soarin' had a Christmas layover and wherever you went was a little colder, icier, rainier, foggier. It might actually be interesting enough for me to go on frequently.

I like flying over the old parking lot and entering DL. It's nostalgic.

I have always wished it wasn't Christmas time in the park in the film, but understand the pull of showing the nighttime parade and all of the holiday lights. It just seems odd to see the holidays in the middle of a summer trip (although, I suppose that's how the Southern hemisphere feels).
