Very interesting. The person who filmed it said they forgot to record the drops that were also illuminated. It would have been a weird, yet still awesome, ride. Thanks for posting!

Too bad we couldn't see the ship battle with lights on, that would've been insane.

Why were the lights on? Was it a screw up? A special tour? Anyone know?

Probably a quick breakdown, that didn't need an evac.

It was weird because the Show, and work lights were both on.

Thats really cool, I was worried, I was on Indy, when it broke down and had to see all of the walls, and it was not as cool as I thought it would be, Pirates looks to be built with quality

Looks different, but still exquisite. Confirms my belief that some of the park atytractions are true works of art. It's a great example of Imagineering in its golden age.

You are so right! I had the great fortune to see Peter Pan with the lights on one time during a magic morning...pretty cool!

Strange, when I was there on the 30th, POTC seemed much darker than usual!

Cool, Thanks for posting up my video.

I definitely regretted for not recording the first and second drop when the lights were on.
That part looks interesting to finally see the two drops for the first time with lights on.

I wish they have kept the lights on in the ship battle scenes.

Well, Here's a full ride-through of Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland. With original lighting no night vision. If any of you guys are interested.
