With all the rumor floating round about possible major (like whole land upgrades) expansions. Where would the great people of Micechat like to see Disney put their efforts next. Would you like to see a Frontierland, Tomorrowland, Toon Town, or Critter Country expansion. What seems to need the most work these days?

Re: Next Disneyland Expansion?
They should do something about Fantasyland station, it's cool to see it when you never got to ride the skyway, but it takes up spacesigpic
Who is this yellow bear? Where's Henry?

Re: Next Disneyland Expansion?
I feel like Tomorrowland needs it the most. Frontierland hasn't gotten anything in a long time, but it doesn't really need anything. It's small, but it's a great land.

Re: Next Disneyland Expansion?
I REALLY want Frontierland to be expanded, but the way i see it, disney won't do anything to Frontierland until Lone Ranger is released. That or the OZ movie, both released next year. If they just decide to rope off the Autopia/Subs area of Tomorrowland, they could announce the expansion at this year's D23 and have the bulldozers in by next summer. I'm HOPING for a Frontierland expansion first, but I'm suspecting something to be announced for Tomorrowland relatively soon.

Re: Next Disneyland Expansion?
Hmm yeah... Tommrowland - brought back Captain EO, re-made star tours, Nemo overlay to the subs, rehabbed back to original the Tomorrowland terrace stage, seem to remember the food counters at the terrace being under construction, Astro Blasters is still a somewhat new ride to me, monorail upgrades.... seems like it's been slowly getting a lot of love. Would I love to see peoplemover come back? You bet! Would I love to see innoventions turned into an E ticket ride? Heck YA! Why is everyone like, oh yeah Tomorrowland needs to be totally revamped? What?
I'm voting for a Frontierland expansion. I would love to see something done with all that awesome space back there that used to be festival of fools. I love Frontierland the way it is but I want MORE of it!!=)
Edit post: Ok actually, I hate astro-orbitors looking huge and obnoxious at the entrance to Tomorrowland and would be all for them moving it back on top of the old rocket rods platform where it belongs.Last edited by Gwenchanter; 07-08-2012, 04:47 PM.

Half *** fixes for Tomorrowland '98 screw ups included bringing back the 3D movie (that was replaced because of lack of crowd in the '90's), bringing back the subs with an overlay, a revamp for Star Tours, and a "new" monorail (that didn't even fit the rail when it was first put on the rail if I remember correctly). That's a lot of stuff for one land, but none of it actually confronted the problem that Tomorrowland has had since the '90's. Tomorrowland has architecturally looked exactly the same since 1971! Facades have change, paint schemes have changed, a few exteriors have had facelifts, but nothing major has been constructed since Space Mountain! A land based on the future should have unique architecture. When the architecture remains the same as the architecture from 1967, it's impossible for the land to truly feel futuristic. If WDI is serious about a DCA 2.0 revamp of Tomorrowland, they need to build new structures, new rides, new experiences, and with new architecture and landscaping. This is exactly why I'm all for the removal of autopia, subs, and Innoventions. All of them have been repurposed from original rides/ buildings. Frontierland works in its current form since it still has breathtaking views and theme fitting architecture/ experiences. Tomorrowland does not work since (like the half *** additions to DCA 1.0) the additions over the years have not fixed the route of the problem.

On the topic at hand, wouldn't it make more sense to create more offerings in Frontierland before walling off most (if not all) of Tomorrowland?Trips coming up:

Re: Next Disneyland Expansion?
I really think something should be added to Frontierland before TL gets any major work as mentioned in the above post.
That is how I would want it to happen. I also feel that the FL Theater will become Frontierland via a large-ish expansion.
As much as I want TL to get a major over-haul, I would like it done in the "proper" order. I think this order would be best since Frontierland can expand, and TL pretty much cannot (ok, maybe southward ...but not by much.)
I would have even more respect for DL if they would commit to a movie themed attraction (E ticket) before it was released. Kinda like USH did for Jurassic Park Ride. I dunno if DL has ever done this... it would make my decade if they did it for LR or something else coming out in the next 1-3 yrs.

Re: Next Disneyland Expansion?
I would love for them to take care of Tomorrowland if for no other reason than to remove the rocket ships from Main Street and put them up high again where they belong. They also need to get rid of those gold rocks that are creating such a bottleneck at the entrance. They look like rotting yellow teeth and it's time for them to go.

The Matterhorn was built on nothing more than a mound of dirt and a very necessary central Skyway tower.Trips coming up:
