Beautiful shots! Whenever I take pictures in the dark without flash, it comes out blurry. :bang:

Fantastic job on those. I still haven't mastered this part of the ride. I think I need to ride it a whole bunch more to figure it out. Yeah, that's it... I need to ride it more....

Really lovely photos! I especially enjoy the first and fourth shots -- too cool! Is it possible to perhaps send me one or both shots so I can use them as my computer wallpaper? If not, I completely understand. I just love these shots. :D

You can right click the photo and select "use image as desktop picture"

Well sometimes I miss the D700. I feel like there was less color noise with the D700 in high isos but despite some things I love my D800. The files from the D800 are ridiculously large, my computer can barely handle it. I had to upgrade all my cf cards to a faster class and I learned that my shoot discipline was a tad messy. It's an amazing camera though and I don't regret selling my D700 at all.

He is shooting a Digital SLR with a fast lens (ie. 50mm with a 1.8f stop) on it... the main secret is just to have a fast lens.

While a lens with a large aperture is a major component to dark ride photography,(since it allows one to have a faster shutter speed..etc) its not the only thing one needs to take into consideration to be successful.
