  • News NEW DCA Website

Today I went to the Disneyland Resort website to explore around and ended up coming across the new DCA website (at least it is new to me). I like the look and feel of it. Its simple, yet informative, and gives off the 1920s feel the park is going for. Overall, I am pleased with it. What do you think?

I love it. It's so chic and the design is so forward-thinking. I mean, come on! It moves when you scroll down!

I like the Paradise Pier section the best. Looks really cool.

I love the new site. Its retro, and at the same time I love as it was said how the page animates as you scroll down the page.

It looks like they started with the attraction posters and just ran from there. I love it! Thanks for sharing!

I really like the movement of the website. It is so simple, yet effectively works. The GRR section where it seems like a calm river, then the splash comes up, and you see the other raft right next to it makes the website go from slow to action very quickly. Yet, the webpage is very simple. I do not think I have seen a website like this before. I'd love to see more!

That is a really cool website. I forgot I loaded it. When I came back to my computer I started to scroll down. Then the fun started! Great job!

WOW! I have never seen anything so cleverly constructed on a website before! Reminds me of a pop-up book, mixed with the good old fashion art design.

That is so cool. It is almost like it is 3D without being 3D.

That was freaking awesome! I love the 'first half of the 20th century' theme they're going for! DCA has a bright future ahead!

one unfavorable thing I did notice about the website it that it does not run well on a Mac. Granted, there is the whole Apple vs Flash issue, but that aside, you do need to have a fairly large screen to get the full effect. Nevertheless, I still think the website is beautifully executed.

I think if they made the Disneyland website similar to this it would be great! It would not need to be in 1920's format, but if they used actual photos and made them move around like the DCA one does, I think it would be very effective (and will compliment the DCA website).

Totally agree, I was going to say the same thing!! I absolutely love this design, they completely aced it with this one - I think DL's website more than deserves to have a similar treatment, but with its own flavour!
