Has the lighting on the exterior of the mountain at night always been the stationary blue and purple that it is now? I vaguely remember the lights being a little more exciting (like a flashing or kind of "lightning" effect) back in maybe 2007 or 2008. I know I'm not remembering the Ghost Galaxy lights because it was before Ghost Galaxy came for Halloween. Can somebody confirm this? Thanks!

Re: Space Mountain exterior lighting question
After it opened in 2005, it did have strobe lights that would flash around the circumference, speed up, and then light the entire mountain white for a few seconds before going back to blue. This would repeat every few minutes. Not sure when this stopped, but I remember after a few years a bunch of these lights no longer worked so the spinning didn't look too great.

Re: Space Mountain exterior lighting question
Maybe they should have it work like Tokyo's space mountain. Over there the space mountain lights are synchronized with the music playing throughout tomorrowland. it's a very cool effect.
