  • [Question] Deaths at Disneyland?

Has anyone ever made a list of the deaths that have occurred at DL, either ones on any rides, attractions, or just walking around the park?

I know DL is notoriously secretive about medical emergencies and things of this nature that happen within the park...Just curious to know how many have happened over the years and where/how they happened.

I think the worst one has to be the gal that got squished on America Sings. If you ever read Mouse Tales, the author does cover a lot of the incidents.

Wikipedia is probably one of the better places to look, there are many silly rumors online about stuff that didn't ever happen. There are also books on the subject as well.

I heard that there are no actual "deaths" at Disneyland. They declare "Deaths" once outside Disney property. Anyone can confirm or deny this?

I believe that to be an urban legend. At least I read somewhere that it was not true that they don't declare someone dead in the park itself. I'll have to see if I can find where I read that.

                    And here it is...

Is no one ever declared dead while on Disney theme park property?

4 year old boy on RRCTS makes my blood run cold.

Stupid Adults playing russian roulette with their lives is one thing but small children falling out due to improper safety on DL's part is just horrifying. So, so sad.
