[Question] Thoughts on Touring Plan?

Our trip is in October, so this is planning way ahead-oh well! I want to get the Thursday morning that we have MM planned out. As far as I am aware, DL opens at 8 that time of year, DCA at 10.

7:00-9:30
FP Space Mountain
Ride Star Tours
In FL, ride Mr. Toad, Peter Pan, Alice, and Mad Tea Party
Ride Indiana
Ride Pirates

9:30
Leave DL and line up at DCA

10:00
Ride RSR, Luigi and Mater
FP RSR

Can I get everything at DL done in those 2.5 hours? How does my Cars Land look?

You might have to do some re-planning...Isn't DCA supposed to open with Disneyland from now on, or was that only for this summer?

Ride Star Tours then get FP for Space. The line will be shortest first thing, if you backtrack you will end up waiting longer.

Oh I see it was MM, I don't think you can get a FP until 8:00 when the park opens for its regular day.

I keep forgetting FP machines don't open till eight. Also, I have heard from multiple people on the DISboards that I should ride the rides I want in FL before doing Star Tours, but I always thought Star Tours would get busy fast. What do you think?

Well Star Tours does get busy fast, however MM is relatively uncrowded. Star Tours wont have a long wait until 8:00.

Thursday, October 18, 2012:

DL opens at 9am (MM starts at 8am)

DCA opens at 10am

You didn't post an actual date, so I just picked a random Thursday in Oct. Also, just keep in mind that Al Lutz just posted that CL will have a 7day/week early opening, I don't know how this will affect your plans. Nor do I know if it will extend into the fall.

I think it is silly that they are opening DCA later than DL, it gives the impression to the public that they are not as proud of DCA as they are for DL.
