  • [Idea] Raging Rollercoaster (California Screaming retheme)

Backstory: Stanley the Great was one of the best magicians in all of California. His tricks and illusions brought people to Paradise Pier almost everyday. His performances were impeccable, and was named one of the most magnificent magicians of all tone. That is until 1901 during one of his shows, a jealous sideshow host revealed one of his tricks.Guest began losing interest in his show. His show ,usually pulling in hundreds of people ,only attracted 2 or 4 every hour sometimes none at all. Eventually the head of the pier asked Stanley to shut down the show, he begged him to let him stay, but the decision was final. Stanley eventually free cold and bitter, angry at all the events that led to his demise. He viewed to strike revenge. A couple years later, Stanly has died and a new attraction was being built on the very site that
Stanley's show was on. During the construction of the wooden coaster strange things began to happen, strange notes left behind, random magic cards discarded in places, and strange sounds coming from the construction site. These events were just brushed off, but on opening day, guest came to a surprise. The beautiful blue and white building they saw being constructed now had a more sinister look. The blue and white color scheme was now black and purple. The intricate carvings and trim had become more angle and jagged looking with comes crawling and creeping through them. The guest were told to ignore these changes, but it was obvious that something evil has taken over... More to come

Queue: As said the queue would be black and purple with creppy and jagged trim. The queue would be mostly indoors after 2 or 3 switchbacks outside. Inside the queue, pictures of the coaster in construction would line the wall, but if you look closely you can see a shadowy figure in each of them. At one point you would see a large mirror (two way glass) which would make it appear as if stanley's ghost is behind you. From there you'd walk into a room showing a safety video similar to indiana jones queue. Part of this video would tell you to ignore any rumors or sightings of ghost. From there you go up the stairs and into the loading station.

Ride: From the station you would ride into a tunnel with creepy music playing . fog would creep along the track up until you stop. Stanley the great appears (in his ghostly form) saying that he will get his revenge. Stanley starts to laugh as he summons ghost that now inhabit the ride vehicle (this would be achieved by using projections) from there you blast of going into the scream tunnels ,now made to look more victorian but still having the creepy feel. From there most of the ride would be the same besides a change in soundtrack until you get to the last helix. The helix is now inclosed, and as you go around ghost attack your ride vehicle swiping and grabbing. The ride ends with guest going into the flamming mouth of stanley himself.

I like the idea of finally adding a story to CS, but I'm not sure I can stand seeing the coaster black and purple... Where can we find the room to put a queue like that? But I like it...

Tthank you, the whole rollercoaster would remain white just the queue ride vehicles and scream tubes would be black and purple.

i like it. I personally think that the scream tubes should be removed and be replaced with beautiful tunnels inside and out. and would this ride use animatronics? it seems like there wouldn't be to much dark ride to fit.

I wonder how the launch building would look like if this was made...

Are you talking about the tunnel before the launch? It would be wooden almost resembling ah elongated gondola. It would also be black and purple.

I also like the idea of screamin' having a backstory but not sure this one would work, though it does seem like it would be a good idea for a dark ride where Maliboomer was.
