  • No theme song for Carsland or Radiator Springs Racers?

Unless I'm not paying enough attention... there seems to be no "official song" to go along with Radiator Springs Racers or Carsland in general, like the Tiki Room song, Yo-Ho A Pirate's Life For Me, Grim Grinning Ghosts, and so forth. I listened to the "soundtrack" of RSR but it appears to be like a movie soundtrack plus the sounds you would hear on the ride including talking animatronics and so forth. There's no actual song?

    There's several actually:

Almost every point of interest in cars land has at least one track from their individual background loops featured on this CD, I highly recommend picking up a copy next time you're in Ramone's.

I always think of the song from the movie...Life is a dream as the theme
      Happy Halloween!!!

Where in the land are the above two songs played?

I would too, but my favorite (but underated) musical called "Life Could Be a Dream" used that song so when I hear that song I connect it with the musical and not Cars. I personally connect Cars Land with the Radiator Rock song, but that's just me .

Both are played on the Loop down Route 66. Mater also sings his version of "welcome to radiator springs" for his jamboree as well as the version where he for got the words and kept saying Da'gum.

The music was great until they brought in the voice track. In my opinion, there's already enough people talking; the last thing we need is another voice.

Sorry, but the "Music of Cars Land" CD is the most disappointing Disney soundtrack I have ever purchased - to the point of wishing I could just return it. Aside from the Luigi's and Racers music, the rest was a cheap collection of old has-beens and we didn't need 5 songs just from Larry the Cable Guy. Ugh.

I don't think anybody posted this so forgive me if someone already covered it. I love how they play life would be a dream when the sun goes down and the neon kicks on every night it gives you such a wonderful feeling.

I hope you know Mater's Junkyard Jamboree plays more than one song for that attraction...

I will agree the track for Luigi's, Flo's, Ramone's were not necessary. They could have done something else. But how can you not appreciate that 9 out of 13 tracks are complete originals?

I'm going to assume here that legal issues came into play regarding the not playing of the Rascal Flatts version of "Life Is A Highway" throughout the land or in the queue of RSR?

I doubt it. It's used in the DJ show, where it fits. It wouldn't have fit as part of the BGM for the whole land or for the Racers queue. They both have their own eras and genres of music that they use, and "Life Is a Highway" (while a great song) isn't remotely similar to the feel of either loop. I could be wrong, but I'm guessing the reason was more artistic than legal.

When you say "DJ show," are you referring to Mad "T" Party? I didn't get a chance to see all the daily attractions at Cars Land, so I may have missed something else that happens during the day. Thanks!

No, the car named DJ from the movie (one of the party cars that causes Lightning McQueen to get lost) comes out a few times a day and has a little dance party with a few cast members. One of the songs is "Life Is a Highway"

Oh, nice! I hope to see that next time I go to the park! The song should have been on the soundtrack then, in my honest opinion.

Yes indeed I knew Junkyard Jamboree utilizes several different songs, but including so many of them on the CD just seemed redundant and more a use of filler than an intentional selection.

I do appreciate original tracks at all times but they're so "not" typical Disney magic, you know?
