  • [Question] Alice in Wonderland track?

So in the new update they mentioned that the Disney Imagineers have come up with a solution to the Alice in Wonderland queue/ track problem. Does anyone have any idea what they might be planning? Hopefully it will be along the same lines as the original landscaping and the enhancements will fit in.

I don't know what the plan is but if it were me, I would have enclosed the outdoor segment in plexi-glass that way it would solve the safety issues while still be true to the ride's original design. But that's just me.

      That would look terrible.

There going to add a backwards loop. Which means when you get to that part of the ride you go backwards to the beginning

Pretty to look at. OSHA will love it. MC community will love it. And then the world ends on December 21, 2012.
I am old. But still love Disneyland.

I know you were kidding but for those that don't know.
They found a Mayan Calendar with calculations way past 2012...

Maybe the new outdoor structure could be rock work with retractable hand rails rather than giant leaves with tarps.
In the quest for quality, I have no problem with the characters footing the bill.

It seems to me they could keep it the way it was, and add vines and flowers made out of iron to form a hand railing that would blend in with the rest of the theme. They probably would need to re-build the whole outside section though for streangth.

I think if they have to have a railing, it should look more like this...

I love this Handrail, I hope they do something like this!!!!!!! But perhaps they enclose the bottom section and expand the ride a little.

These folks may be my ancestors. And I like the "Lords of Time" title. Makes for a good name for a new attraction in the new Tomorrowland.

Not to mention that the Mayans didn't include leap year. So technically we've already passed 2012 on their calendar.

I hope the new safety rails are collapsible ones like they use on Indy.
