  • [Question] When do you predict your $50 gift card or Parkhoppers will arrive?

(Forgive me for starting a new thread, but I don't think I can add a poll to one of the older threads.)

So, when do you think your $50 card or your two Parkhoppers will arrive at your home from the
    Coca-Cola/Ralph's contest?

Please vote only if you won a prize in this contest back in May and are still waiting for it to arrive. Otherwise, please just post a comment instead. Votes are public.

This proses has been a crazy mess I fell this could be January 2013 maybe they are waiting to see if the 2012 doomsday prediction comes true.

Monday is not going to happen I received an email saying they were still waiting for information from the sponsors maybe too it’s because of the prize I won and all the elements involved.

I thought I was being the hair in the sundae by voting for Tuesday, July 31, but as I write this I'm the most optimistic one to vote so far. Mousedaddy, I fear you may be right.

Sponsor fun fact and video link:
Ralph's reportedly stopped having double coupons in April of 2012, and below is a
Coca-Cola video that I don't really want to watch, but, Coke, I'm just getting started.

So no one has yet written, "I got my Parkhoppers!" or "My $50 gift card arrived!" From the voting so far, no one expects any to arrive before "the last day"--Tuesday, July 31.

Now let's all sing that classic tune from Monty Python's "Life of Brian": Always look on the bright side of life (whistling) . . .

I certainly hope to have my gift card by early August. If I were waiting for tickets, I'd be really upset if I didn't get them until after the end of the summer season (either after when friends with kids could go, or before the all the AP blocking ends and it will be a mess again for a while).

JulieMouse, because of your post for the first time in several weeks I now feel like a well-adjusted grown up :botox: about this contest since I'm not "really upset"; I'm just moderately annoyed.

But if I don't have my passes next week I will become like one of the newest Disney chracters, but without the
green muscles, gamma radiation, and a willingness to smash. :!$#%:  OK, I'll never be Hulk-like.

                Contest sponsors:
                Sorry
Coca-Cola, I'm one week away from being in favor of Bloomberg's big soda ban.
                And
Ralph's, please don't make me say you're aptly named.
JulieMouse, I guess I'm not so well adjusted after all when it comes to waiting for promised Disney Parkhoppers.

And here's a note I received on July 23. I will write more frequently as we near the 31st--in a polite "Please forgive my excitement, but any update?" tone. It's not Liz & Kimmy's fault that they have to answer for some uninspired and possibly inconsiderate people.

                    Hi XXX,

                    Thank you for your response.

We apologize for any inconvenience you've experienced and appreciate your continued patience and understanding.

                    Best,
                    Liz

I received this email today the 25th after asking about the other elementsof my prize:

                      Hello XXXXXXXXX,

We appreciate your follow up, and please know we are aware of your prize andwish we had further information for you, but at this point, we do not.

You will be receiving your prize in its entirety and we appreciate yourpatience.

My hopes of this happening quickly were dashed ageist therocks. I find it had to believe that such a large company as ePrize is having suchproblems. and that the sponsors being coke and ralphs are being so slow withgiving the prizes to ePrize to tell the truth with 6 days tell the 10 weeks isup I am not encouraged by this lack of information.

I wrote Coca-Cola a snail mail letter (below), and I wrote to Kaiser Yang, Matt Wise, and Bob Marsh at ePrize--see the eprize website for titles and addresses. It's all easy to find. (It looks like Kimmy & Liz are just whipping out boilerplate responses to those (many?) of the many hundreds of "winners" who are now contacting them.)

"In mid-May I was thrilled to learn that we had won two Disneyland Parkhopper tickets in the Coca-Cola Kroger Family Fun contest. The email confirmation stated that the prizes would be awarded in approximately 8-10 weeks. July 31 will be the end of 10 weeks . . . Being informed that we've won Disneyland tickets at the beginning of summer and then waiting this long has been frustrating for many people. . . "

Patience is a virtue. They're free tickets, so I'm not going to complain about it.
