[Question] Stuck on a ride?

[WoC 95]

What ride would you want to be stuck on at Disneyland or DCA? I would like to be stop on Pirates or Space Mountain.

I have been stuck on space mountain before. We were on the begining or the ride when the ride stopped. They turned all the lights on and had to walk thru the ride and manually release each car to run the rest of the track. It was pretty cool to see it with the lights on, ha ha makes you realize how close the track is! Once we made it thru they let us all go again once it was up and running

I've been on 3 rides that broke down and all 3 of them where at the very end of the ride, They where Snow White,Buzz Lightyear & Small World in that order to.

Either Indy or RSR. I haven't been on RSR yet, but I saw videos of it. I'd love to get evacuated and get a close up those rides

I really don't "want" to get stuck on any rides because I think that seeing it with the lights on would really ruin the magic. Space Mountain is the exception, because I know that there are beams and stuff there already so nothing would really be ruined. I also wouldn't mind getting stuck on the DLRR right in the Splash Mountain scene or when crossing the Critter Country trestle.

I have been stuck on Pirates and it was not fun. I spent twenty minutes in the auction room listening to the same dialogue over and over again. Finally they shut the audio off and it was even creepier because the animatronics were still moving, but no sound was coming out.

I totally wanna get stuck on Space Mountain. My need to see the track will not be satisfied with POV videos. Wouldn't mind getting stuck on Indy or RSR. I'm down for anything that doesn't require you to stay put listening to the same music for extended periods of time. (I'm lookin' at you, Splash Mountain!)

Same thing happened to me on Haunted Mansion Holiday in front of Jack Skellington for about 40 mins, which seems like the spot where everyone wants to get stuck on the regular HM. Animatronics are really scary when there's no dialogue!

I've gotten stuck on a few rides and had to be walked out... big thunder, pirates, buzz, I know there was one other that I am forgetting the name of. Thunder I had a fun time with the walk through as I was the last in line and talking to the CM the whole time and taking a few photos here and there. Pirates was a headache I had the song stuck in my head the whole day after, and buzz was at the very end. ... I would rather not be stuck in any other ride again.

I got stuck on splash mountain at the top before the big splash on our grad night many moons ago. It was definitely an adventure, that's for sure. It was tricky getting out of the boat but I was surprised they had an exit right there. The backstage was kinda cool st night like that.

If I had to get stuck on something again I would say storybook canal. It's peaceful and fun and I could see just sitting there with friends and other visitors, getting to know eachother. Plus there are so many little things to look at.

Heh, there's a lot. Mine would be Space Mountain, Thunder Mountain, Matterhorn, HM, POTC, Indiana Jones, Tower Of Terror, California Screamin. Those are the rides I'd love to be evacuated on.

I got stuck on Tower of Terror because they shut the ride down for safety reasons. Someone in our elevator was doing something stupid and we got locked at the bottom, after the drops. We had a pretty rough landing in comparison to the actual ride, so we were all pretty scared for a few seconds. They went on the intercom and talked to us about what was happening and why, giving us only the details we needed to know and not engaging in casual conversation. The perpetrator and his friends were banned from the ride, but the rest of us were bored, frustrated, and there was a little girl who was really upset.

Long story short: ToT is not a great place to get stuck. :P

We got stuck on Pirates, and it was creepy! Everyone was side-eying the characters after a while. I think your mind starts to play tricks on you.

I had to evacuate from Roger Rabbit on my birthday, which was kinda cool. We got to walk the entire inside of the ride, and our guide let me snap a few photos. I liked seeing it with the lights on!

After hearing "Carlos do not tell him...." about 300 times, they shut down the audio. we throught great! But then we heard the "clacking" of the figures and it was reeeeeaaaaaalllllly strange.

The only one I'd really like to be stopped in is the Haunted Mansion: specifically, in the ballroom. I've been stuck in the HM before, but in other spots. I always feel like the ballroom goes by too quickly and I wouldn't mind seeing it and enjoying it for a little longer.

Other than that, Buzz Lightyear. I've been able to rack up a million point score on that ride when it's been stopped.

Other than THAT I really wouldn't want to be stuck on a ride. It would ruin the magic if I had to see Space Mountain with the lights on, I think I'd lose my mind if I were stuck in Small World, etc.

Ditto. For us it was the lift. So uncomfortable. Leaning back like this with those not-so-comfy back rests. Plus it was stuffy in there. After 15 min, I was ready to walk off myself and climb the stairs... but I didn't wanna go to "Disneyland Jail" (LMBO!!!)

But it has been a dream of mine to be stopped on Space at the nearest block after the last lift, lights on, manual push and re-ride! One day I hope this will happen.

As for an evac, I want it to be on Matty! I would take BTMRR or Splash as a close second for an evac!
